SAE AERO DESIGN ADVANCED CLASS 2024
We at Team Onyx India, are a non-profit, student-run collegiate Aero Design Team of K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai, India. We build RC Model aircraft and participate in various Aero Design competitions like SAE International, Boeing IIT National Aeromodelling Competition, and other international and national level competitions. We also exhibit RC Aircraft built by us in various events like Abhiyantriki and MakerMela etc. We have conducted numerous workshops and events in hopes to create enthusiasm and curiosity about aerodynamics amongst students.

In a remarkable feat, 2023 marked an important milestone as we ranked first in the Asia-Pacific region in the SAE Aero Design East Advanced Class for the first time ever. Our triumph not only signifies a commitment to innovation but also reinforces Team Onyx India's dedication to excellence in aeromodelling pursuits.
